Uganda Rugby Cranes Beats Zimbabwe To Win Rugby Africa 7s 2022

Uganda Rugby Cranes who were the official host for the 2022 Rugby Africa Sevens hammered Zimbabwe 28:00 to be crowned the champion for Rugby Africa 7s.

This was a two days competition that was held in Kampala Uganda. About 14 African countries took part in the tournament.

This win secured the Cranes a place at the 2022 Rugby World 7s that will be held in South Africa.

They have also qualified for the Commonwealth Games this July in Birmingham.

Kenya will also be representing at the Rugby World 7s after thumping Zambia 19:12 in the Bronze Medal match.

According to Rugby Africa, all the three medalists will qualify for a ticket to Cape Town for the World Cup slated for September 9-11 at the Cape Town Stadium, while only the finalists will secure slots to Birmingham for the Commonwealth Games.
