SCOOPSBIZ: Azawi Believes Her Collabo With Burna Boy Will Rocket Uganda Music
Swangz Avenue Songwriter and Recording Artist Zawedde Priscilla popularly known as Azawi made a statement about dreaming of working a Collabo with African Giant Burna Boy after Konshens’s Collabo on Summer Bae Single which is currently the biggest hit in East Africa and believes that Collabo will upthrust Uganda Music Industry.
Azawi was once a traditional dancer before she officially joined the music industry in 2019 under the management of Makindye based Record Label, undoubtedly Uganda’s biggest Record Label, Swangz Avenue.
Since signing with Uganda’s No.1 Music Label Swangz Avenue, Azawi has managed to work with different Artists both in Uganda and outside.
According to her, she wants to take Uganda’s music industry to the next level. She revealed that Ugandans are talented but their music doesn’t cross borders.
The singer also stated that working with Nigerian Superstar Burna Boy will be a dream come true if she gets an opportunity to work with the Nigerian Sensational Act and she said this will be the only opportunity that will open doors for so many Ugandan Artistes.

“I wish to work with Burna Boy at some point. And I am talented. I know with that opportunity, my dream will come true and doors will be open for Ugandan music industry to go places,” she said.
