Bosmic should repent, If I were him, I would handover myself at Oulanyah’s funeral – Odonga Otto while advising Bosmic

Former Member of Parliament, Odonga Otto wrote a long piece of legal advisory letter to the trouble legendary Singer Bosmic Otim.

Odonga’s article reads;

FREE LEGAL AND POLITICAL ADVICE TO BOSMIC OTIM

BOSMIC may be charged both in court martial and Civilian courts for the following offences.
1.Illegal possession of firearms (2 counts)
2.Being in possession of military stores (2 counts)
3.Threatening violence (3+ counts).
4.Criminal defamation 5.Civil defamation (optional)

Bosimic should voluntarily hand over himself to the nearest police station it will help reduce his problems and show that he is a law abiding citizen.

If he is arrested forcefully he may even be killed in the process because the state will come with proportional force the can contain an SMG. Bosmic should brace himself to be behind bars for a while there is no short cut or easy fix to this. Prison would be good to cut his ego and show him he is not above the law. Politically when he is in incarceration then Acholi stakeholders can talk to powers that be and to the complainants to drop their complainants. Bosmic prior to handing over himself to police should through the same platform he used and apologise to all he abused especially Gen.otema, RDC etc, it will mitigate his case.

Politically in all this quagmire he needs to show total allegiance to the NRM party and to President Museveni in particular because the later does not joke with issues of firearms or threatening to wage war.

The NRM government even sentences soldiers with ranks for abuse of firearms so it should be easier to take on Bosmic.

Acholi is still a volatile area and “prone” to war so the the state security apparatus can’t tolerate that kind of unremorsefull behaviour. Bosmic behaviour must not be entertained not only in Uganda but in acholi at all cost.

So the password here to Bosmic is swallow your pride apologise ,in any case in the circumstances its the cheapest and only reasonable option.

If I were Bosmic the best place to handover myself is at the funeral of the late Hon. Oulanyah’s Burial because its the very reasons that drove you into hiding. But handing himself over must be preceeded with an apology in advance. Please some send this to Bosmic and can call me if he wishes.
