Russian Billionaire Roman Abramovic have put Club Chelsea up for sale.

Chelsea football club owner Roman Abramovic has confirmed that he has decided to sell the club after 19 years of helm.

According to one source, Abramovich has written off £1.5bn in loans owed by the club and will donate all net  proceeds of the sale of Chelsea to a foundation to help the war victims in Ukraine.

Roman Abramovich has been running Chelsea football club since 2003 as the club owner.

Roman Arkadyevich Abramovich is a Russian oligarch, billionaire, businessman and politician. Abramovich is the primary owner of the private investment company Millhouse LLC, and he is best known for being the owner of English Premier League side, Chelsea football club.
